Artist Biography

Nina Linton is a summertime local of Alaska and a native of North Carolina. She is not afraid to work in a kitchen without electricity or running water. She is frequently put in charge of groups of rowdy teenage boys and holds the line by making them do push ups. A student of Korean martial arts for eight years, she has learned to be strong and survive in a male dominated environment lightly salted with a few brave females.

She has exhibited her artwork in the North Carolina Mountain State Fair as well as in the North Carolina governor’s office. She recently participated in a memorial exhibition for the late Professor Kimowan McLain. Currently Linton is attending UNC Chapel Hill and will graduate in the spring of 2012.
